Ms. Frances Edith Drake Funeral Notice Ms. Frances Edith Drake, 88, of Roanoke died Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Cherry Hill Nursing Home, Birmingham. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (CST) at Canaan Baptist Church, Roanoke with Rev. Calvin Trammell officiating. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. The interment will be in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home. Ms. Drake is survived by her nieces: Freida Oliver, Birmingham, Olga (Carl) Perry, Douglasville, GA, Reta Drake, Sierra Vista, AZ and a nephew: Willie Edward Morre, Vicenza, Italy and a host of other relative and friends.
