Funeral Notice
Ms. Annie Pearl Mackey Green, 76, of LaFayette died Monday, December 4, 2023, at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 11322 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, LaFayette, AL at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Michael Stiggers officiating. Interment will be in Handy cemetery, LaFayette. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. Public viewing will be Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home.

Ms. Green is survived by her son: Mario Green, Lithonia, GA; her granddaughter: Kyndall Green, Lithonia, GA; four sisters: Dorothy Shumake, Louisville, KY, Jennell Crawford (George), Douglasville GA; Carolyn Williams, Louisville, KY and Cassandra Mackey, Atlanta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Good morning, we did not know her, however we heard the obituary notice on the radio and that part of her name was Pearl. Our grandmother's & great grandmothers name was Opal Pearl. We felt compelled to reach out and send our condolences. Not sure why n we may seem crazy lol. But we are sorry your im assuming priceless Pearl is no longer with you.
