Mr. Kenneth Edward Battle, 68, of Wadley died Monday, August 14, 2023, at Tanner Medical Center, Carrollton, GA. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 18, 2023, at County Line Baptist Church, Wadley at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Rickey Cofield officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon (CST) until the funeral hour. Public viewing will be Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home.
Mr. Battle is survived by five sisters: Ophelia Lewis (Alfred Lee Briskey), Carolyn Drake, Mollie Banks, Yvonnia White, and Geneva Hunter (Johnny Hood) all of Wadley; one brother: Ethridge (Brunette) Knight, Wadley; special friends: Duke Wilkes and Renae Battle both of Wadley; one daughter, two stepdaughters; three stepsons; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
