Mrs. Geneva B. Slaughter Funeral Notice Mrs. Geneva B. Slaughter, 91, of Atlanta GA (formerly of LaFayette) died Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Emory University, Midtown, Atlanta, GA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Vines Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Terry Magby and Elder John Cunningham officiating. Public viewing will be Monday, June 28, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. (CST) to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home. Interment will be at New Mt. Sellers Church (New) Cemetery, LaFayette. Mrs. Slaughter is survived by her two daughters: Mae Bell Slaughter, Conley, GA and Jacqueline (Michael) Henson, Atlanta, GA and one son: Edward (Diane) Slaughter, Memphis, TN; one stepdaughter: Dorothy Avery, Opelika, AL ; one granddaughter: Lawana Johnson, College Park, GA; two grandsons: Christopher Slaughter, Conley, GA, and BK Slaughter, Memphis, TN; two great-grandchildren: Eden and Brandon (BK) Slaughter, Memphis, TN; one brother: Jerry Howell, Atlanta, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.
