Funeral Notice

 

Mrs. Martha Ann Houston, 89, of Chicago, Illinois (formerly of Wadley)  died Monday, February 15, 2021 in Prosper, Texas. A funeral service service will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Vines Funeral Home Chapel, LaFayette at 12:00 p.m. (CST) with Mr. Darryll Houston officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. Olive United Methodist Church Cemetery, County Road 823, Wadley, AL 36276. Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home one hour before the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CST.

Mrs. Houston is survived by her three children: Melvin Sr., Beverly and Patricia (Dr. James Guess); three sisters: Ethel Bell Patton, Decatur, GA, Carolyn Stewart, Atlanta, GA and Rose Clark, Wadley; three grandsons; four great grandsons and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
