Funeral Notice

 

Mr. James Douglas Foster, 90, of Waverly died Thursday, January 4, 2024, at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Vines Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. (CST) with Bro. Frank Tuck officiating.

Mr. Foster is survived by his two daughters; Diane (Edward) Miller, Waverly and Gloria Jean Clark, Camp Hill; seven grandchildren: Marvette Cherie Razz, Waverly, Christy Razz, LaFayette, Erica (Tyhene) Razz-Pearson, Columbus, GA, James Mason, LaFayette, Kimberly Mason, Cusseta, Brandon (Krishuna) Miller Auburn and Shannon (Jaquez) Harris, Valley; eleven great grandchildren: Breanna Howell, Devin (DJ) Howell, Jordan Howell, Darrien Edwards, Taylor Razz Pearson, Ashley Razz Pearson, Kinsley Razz, Dominique Palmer, Lyric Miller, Maliyah Harris and Aiden Harris; one great, great grandson: Messiah; a special niece: Raquel Hollis, LaFayette and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Foster. We enjoyed visiting with him a few times. I loved seeing his beautiful garden. Sister Diane and family, we are praying for you and your entire family. How we all await the promised paradise.

This was one of God’s Angels on earth. He treated everyone with love and respect. I will cherish the times I had with him and the family. He became my grandfather too. As well as so many others. He was a well of Widsom that never gave out. Rest well you will always be loved and remembered
