There is an idiom that states an apple never falls far from the tree. Although I did not know Ms. Pearson personally, I feel that I knew her very well through her son Pastor Pate whom I have known since college. I am humbled and proud to have known her through him. Her shining light will continue to burn brightly through him. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

CLARENCE E. MATTHEWS
I have known Mrs. Eleanor Pearson's Son, Pastor Pate Pearson for over 23 years. So, I've felt as though I have known her from a distance. There is no doubt in my mind that she LOVED our Lord, her Family, and Friends. Furthermore, I know our Lord LOVED her unconditionally so He rewarded her once her assignments were completed here on Earth with Eternal Glory in Heaven. She has taken up permanent residency in His House of many Mansions. May her Life, Legacy, and Lineage be remembered for many Generations past, present, and future.
