Mrs. Rebecca Patterson Funeral Notice   Mrs. Rebecca Patterson, 102, of Roanoke died Thursday, July 13, 2023, at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Canaan Baptist Church, Roanoke at 3:00 p.m. (CST) with Pastor Calvin Trammell and Rev. Sanford Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 2:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. Mrs. Patterson is survived by her children: Hubert Patterson (Betty), Roanoke, Marilyn Shy, Lithonia, GA, Warner Patterson (Cynthia), Calera, AL, Jeraldean McIntyre (Sedrick) Tampa, FL, Vanessa Patterson & Stephanie Patterson both of Roanoke, and Rev. William Patterson (Mattie), Five Points; one sister-in-law: Irene Johnson, Roanoke, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, her Johnson Street children and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
