Funeral Notice

 

Mrs. Thelma Vaughn, 80, of Wadley died Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange, GA. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15, 2022, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Wadley at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. William Russell officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour.
 
Mrs. Vaughn is survived by four sons: Tony Spradley, Atlanta, GA, James Weaver, Lawrenceville, GA, Howard (Marian) Weaver, Brooklyn Park, MN and Tremayne (Lillian) Vaughn, Lexington, SC; one daughter: Delila Weaver, Lanett; two sisters: Brunette (Kenny) Burden, Roanoke and Drucilla (Willie) James, Wadley; four sisters-in-law: Mary Dowdell, Brooklyn, NY, Essie Momern, Franklin Park, NJ, Zenda (Ralph) Staples, Roanoke and Angela McKinney, Kellyton; two brothers-in-law: Mark Momern, Wadley and Lawrence Momern, Brooklyn, NY; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
