Cousin Fletcher you will be missed. I remember when they started calling me "Nina" bc Mel still does and you were like when did her name change from Anesha to Nina !! Lol he said I'm still gonna call her Anesha. Whenever I had to have some alterations, I would talk to Mrs.Catherine for a long time, she was always so informative and if it 2as warm cuzn Fletcher would be mowing the grass or sitting under the shed in the shade and he would throw up his hands and say hey. Gonna miss him bellowing out that them songs, and playing that piano, nobody had sound that could match his, but we will keep Mel and Mrs. Catherine company while your away, and we'll check up on them periodically.. Rest on cuzn, you fought a long fight,so GOD gave you rest....

MELODY PINKARD
Daddy, I don't know how life will be without you in it. You were always there for me through every stage of my life. You always encouraged me and made me laugh. Everytime I called you had such excitement in your voice to hear from me. Just a happy person to be around. You loved me unconditionally and we always had a bond that no one could match. I am so much like you and I couldn't have asked for a better father in you. During these times of isolation we actually got closer with our Sunday school lessons over the phone with just me, mama and you. We grew closer to each other and closer to God together and I do believe that relationship with God is what is helping me through and giving me strength. There will always be times that I will break down thinking about you not being around or when I need to ask you something and you're no longer there but I know that you will forever be in my heart and I was truly blessed to have you as my father! Love Your Daughter Melody!

ERICA HUFFMAN
Wow, I have no idea where to begin. Rambling…I feel so blessed to have been brought up in the Pinkard’s house. Mr. Pinkard always displayed a father figure that was well respected. He has always displayed the way a husband should treat his wife, and a father rears his child. Even in his absence it was like he was there. I am so sad of his passing, on the other hand, I am so grateful to have had such a great God-Dad. Mrs. Pinkard, Melody, and the rest of this so tightly mended, loving family, my second family, I love you so, so much; you have my most sincere condolences.

WILLIAM (DAFFIE) DILLARD
