Mrs. Corene Harris Ellison, 88, of Camp Hill died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Dadeville Health Care, Dadeville. Funeral services will be held at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 4793 County Rd 89 South, Camp Hill on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. (CST) with Rev. G. H. Pulliam officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. (CST).
Mrs. Ellison is survived by a devoted son, Samuel Harris, Camp Hill; two beloved granddaughters: Bryna Harris and Shanna Harris both of Atlanta, GA; one sister: Lela Malone, Milwaukee, WI: one goddaughter, Dorothy Veasley, Camp Hill; several nieces, nephews, the caregivers at Dadeville Health Care Center and a host of other relatives and friends.
