Mr. Larry Alphonso Wilkes Funeral Notice   Mr. Larry Alphonso Wilkes, 75, of Daviston died Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at West Georgia Hospice, LaGrange, GA. Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Wadley on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. William Russell officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home, Friday, May 12, 2017 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. (CST). Mr. Wilkes is survived by two daughters: Phillis Thomas, Daviston and Sophia Stevens, Alexander City; one sister: Particia McLain, Wadley; two brothers: Adolphus Wilkes, Wadley and Jimmy Ray Wilkes, Trotwood, OH ; one aunt, Louise Veal, Dayton, OH eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
