Funeral Notice

 

Mrs. Margaret Ellen Thomas, 59, of Daviston died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Russell Medical Center, Alexander City.   Funeral services will be held at County Line Baptist Church, Wadley on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Ricky Cofield officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The remains will lie in state at the church from 11:00 a.m. (CST) until the funeral hour.  Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home, Friday, October 28, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. (CST).

 
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband: Edward Lewis, Daviston; one son: Quentin (Keisha) Thomas, Daviston; two brothers: Kenneth (Louise) Battle and Etheridge (Brunett) Knight both of Wadley; five sisters: Ophelia Lewis, Carolyn Drake, Mollie (Carey) Banks, Yvonne Battle & Geneva Hunter all of Wadley; two brothers-in-law: William Lewis, Alexander City and Haywood Woody, Mill Town; two sisters-in-law: Mary (Charles) Robertson, Wedowee and Betty Lewis, Wadley; two special friends: Dianna Baggett, Roanoke and Paula Russell, Goodwater; eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
