Funeral Notice
Mr. Glenn B. Howell, 57, of Lanett died Friday, October 7, 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika. Funeral services will be held at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Lanett on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. (EST) with Rev. Jackie Banks, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 a.m. (EST) until the funeral hour. Visitation with the family will be at Vines Funeral Home Chapel, LaFayette, Friday, October 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 6: 30 p.m. (EST).
Mr. Howell is survived by two sons: Derrick Williams, LaFayette and Kelvin B. Howell, Lanett; seven brothers: Thomas and Donnie Howell both of Lanett, James Howell, Valley, Willie (Shirley) Howell and Charles (Rosa) Howell both of Atlanta, GA;, Rev. Charlie (Phillis) Howell, West Point, GA and Alton Howell, LaGrange, GA; six sisters: Frances Howell and Kathryn Howell both of Atlanta, GA, Maggie (Donald) Bassett, Jonesboro, GA, Elaine (Raymond) Thomas and Tina Rosser both of Lanett and Vickie (Richard) Harris, Douglasville, GA; three aunts: Marie Huguley, LaGrange, GA, Mary Dorman and Katherine Brown both of Atlanta, GA; three uncles: Rev. Jerry (Patricia) Howell, Otis Howell and Raymond Howell all of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lord my heart aches everything I think of "Glenn". Glenn worked beside me for an entire year. Had been employed at mobis for a little over 2 years.. He will be truly missed by us his mobis family..
