Funeral Notice

 

Mrs. Irene Jackson, 87, of Lanett died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at her residence.   Funeral services will be held at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Lanett on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. (EST) with Rev. Jackie Banks, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The remains will lie in state at the church from 11:00 a.m. (EST) until the funeral hour.  Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home, Friday, September 9, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 7: 00 p.m. (EST).

 
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her eight children: Sara Bailey, Joe N. Jackson and Jeffery Jackson all of Lanett, Milton Jackson,Warren, MI, James P. Jackson, Pensacola, FL, Marcus Jackson, Clarksville, TN, Sherry Fitzpatrick, Phenix City & Regina Jackson, West Point, GA; a sister: Nancy Huguley, West Point, GA; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law, three sons-in-law, six daughters-in-law, thirty-one grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ms. Irene you will be truly missed but the Bible holds out a hope of a resurrection at John 5:28-29 Jesus said that the hour is coming in which all those in the memoral tombs will hear his voice and come out those who did good things to a resurrection of life and those who practice bad things to a resurrection of judgement so rest until that time comes love you
