Funeral Notice

 

Mrs. Mary Lee Presley, 80, of LaFayette, died Thursday, August 18, 2016 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, LaFayette on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Ed Vines officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie instate at the church one hour before the service.   The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home Chapel, LaFayette.

Mrs. Presley is survived by her seven children: Mary Louise (James Hughley), LaFayette; Barbara Jean Allen, Anchorage, Alaska, Jessie James (Paula )Presley, LaFayette, Richard Lewis (Audrey) Presley, Tuscaloosa, Andy Presley, Waverly, Sandy (Alac) Harris, Opelika,and Gregory Joe (Bridget) Presley, LaFayette; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren; one sister: Shirley (Mitford) Bettis, College Park, GA two brothers: Donnie Allen, LaFayette, Arthur Allen, Waverly; six brothers-in-law, seven sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

It is such a lost when we loose someone in death but we can be encouraged by what Jesus said at John 5:28-29 when he said that all those in the memoral tomb will hear his voice and come out they will be resurrected and we look forward to that time when we will see our dead love ones again may the peace of God be with the Presley family love you all
