Funeral Notice

Mrs. Lois Ray, 92, of Waverly died Sunday, September 7, 2025, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church, 2467 County Road 28, LaFayette at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Cornelius Reese officiating. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. The interment will be in the church cemetery.  Public viewing will be on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home.
 
Mrs. Ray is survived by her children: Janet Brummitt, Camp Hill, Debbie Moss, Auburn, Billy (Linda) Ray, Alexander City, Michael (Bernice) Ray, LaGrange, GA & Louise Allen, LaFayette; sons-in-law, Curtis Brummitt and Marshel Guice; her sisters: Mary Pearl Young, Lanett, Mary A. Carr, LaFayette and Loretta Allen, Five Points; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
