Mr. Jim Frank Hughes Funeral Notice Mr. Jim Frank Hughes, 91, of Camp Hill died Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Russell Medical Center, Alexander City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church, 4793 Co. Rd 89 S, Camp Hill at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Edward Milner, officiating. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. The interment will be in New Harmony Baptist Church cemetery, Camp Hill. Public viewing will be on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home. Comments / Condolences DAVE PINER I knew Jim from his time working for the State of Michigan. He was probably the most decent man I ever came to know. We kept in touch after his retirement and kept ourselves amused by telling jokes. What a loss! Sincere condolences to his family. Helped plant a backyard garden and taught Maxie how to smoke various meats. He was a great friend and called Maxie often up until his passing.
