Funeral Notice

 

Mr. James F. (“Coot”) Ware, 73, of Camp Hill,  died Thursday, July 21, 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika.   Funeral services will be held at Beulah #2 Baptist Church, Camp Hill on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will be in Brummitt cemetery, Camp Hill.  The remains will lie in state at the church one hour before the service.  Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Vines Funeral Home Chapel, LaFayette.

Mr. Ware was born November 2, 1942 in Camp Hill to the late Milton Ware and Mildred Brummitt Ware.  After service in the Vietnam War, he returned to Alabama, where he worked for over 30 years at the Uniroyal/Michelin Tire Plant, Opelika as a shift supervisor.   Mr. Ware joined at an early age Beulah #2 Baptist Church, Camp Hill, where he served as a faithful  deacon for many years. Mr. Ware was a  devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and deacon who lived his Christian life by example.

Mr. Ware  is survived by his loving wife:  Doris Spencer Ware, Camp Hill; one son: Ramon (Elaine) Ware, San Jose, CA; three daughters Tonja Ware Turner, Charlotte, NC, Nancy Lacy, Dayton, OH; and, Monica (Charles) Reese, Atlanta, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.
