Mrs. Yolanda Evette Allen Broome Funeral Notice Mrs. Yolanda Evette Allen Broome, 59, of LaFayette died Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Lake Martin Community Hospital, Dadeville, AL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Vines Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 p.m. (CST) with Pastor Cecelia Broome officiating. The remains will lie in state at the chapel from 11:00 a.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. The interment will be in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery, LaFayette. Public viewing will be on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home. Mrs. Broome is survived by a devoted husband, Caiaphas Broome, LaFayette; two daughters: Brittany Broome, LaFayette and Cassie Broome, Stone Mountain, GA; two sisters: Sephanie Collier, Auburn and Tara (Miguel) Aviles, Killeen, Texas; one aunt: Annie Jacocks, McDonough, GA; one uncle: Perry Torbert, Camp Hill; mother-in-law: Emma Dora Broome, LaFayette; two sisters-in-law, Pastor Cecelia Broome, LaFayette and Marian Jones, Opelika; one brother-in-law: Edward Lee (Laella) Broome, LaFayette and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
