Funeral Notice
Mr. Saul Reese, 75, of Lanett died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at Greater Popular Springs Baptist Church, LaFayette on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. (CST). Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie instate at the church one hour before the service. Public viewing will be Monday, July 11, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home, LaFayette.
Mr. Reese is survived by his three daughters: Miracle Davis, Lanett, Melissa Holloway, LaFayette and Kay Dowell, Waverly; two sons: Solomon Jerome (Veronica) Reese, LaFayette and Ellis (Sherry) Copeland, West Point, GA; two sisters: Brenda Heard and Lula Carlisle both of Auburn; three brothers: Terry Ware, Opelika, George Carlisle, LaFayette and Willie Trammell, Foley; one aunt: Lavera Banks, LaFayette; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; a special friend, Cathy Gibson, West Point, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
