Funeral Notice

 

Mr. Charles Reese, 90, of Wadley died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Clay County Hospital, Ashland.  Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Wadley on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 12: 00 p.m. (CST) with Pastor W. L. Russell, officiating.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The remains will lie instate at the church one hour before the service. Public viewing will be Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. (CST) to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home, LaFayette.

Mr. Reese is survived by three daughters: Margaret Battle, Wadley, Janette Swint, Atlanta, GA, and Lois Reese, LaGrange, GA; two sons: Charles (Lequetta) Reese, Jr., Roanoke and Kenny (Elizabeth) Reese, Wadley; one brother: Dolphus Reese, Chattanooga, TN; three sisters: Annette Gilder, Gary, IN, Mary Alice Houston, LaGrange, GA, and Willie Eugene Reese, Atlanta, GA; thirteen grandchildren  fourteen great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Daddy Junior will be missed, but through Grace and Mercy. Death is not the end. Just a step forward to our Heavenly Father plan. Gone to heaven to get his crown, wear his robe and get his angel wings. we love you and you will be truly missed.

Sorry to hear Mr. Junior gone from earth. But he is in a better place, our Heavenly home. God don't make no mistakes. May God continue to watch over you all and I know he is with the help of another angel up above watching over us down here. Curtis and Tracey Abner and family.
