Mrs. Sarah Pogue Tanner
Mrs. Sarah Pogue Tanner, 75, of Camp Hill died Sunday, March 28, 2021 at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Mt. Lovely Baptist Church Cemetery in Camp Hill at 12:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Bernard Harris officiating. Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home, Friday, April 2, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. (CST) to 6:00 p.m. (CST).
Mrs. Tanner is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years: Rush Tanner, Jr.; two daughters: Selena (Kenneth) Shaw and Charis Tanner both of Auburn; one son: Rush ( Joy) Tanner III, Montgomery; five sisters: Juline Buckner, Camp Hill, Jeanette Hamilton and Annette Sullivan both of Columbus, GA, Doris Screws, Montgomery and Linda (William) Burns, Camp Hill; one brother: Wemberly Pogue, Camp Hill; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
