Mrs. Thennia Lue Patterson, 88, of Roanoke died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika. Funeral services will be held at Canaan Baptist Church, 7485 Co. Rd. 278, Roanoke on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. (CST) with Rev. Mario McDaniel, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie instate at the church one hour before the service. Public viewing will be Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. (CST) to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home, LaFayette.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by two sons: Napoleon (Zelda) Patterson, Valley and Eudoris (Linda) Patterson, Jr., Roanoke; three daughters: Gloria (George) Murphy, Columbus, GA, Denise (Luther) Bradshaw and Brenda (John) Tucker both of Roanoke; a special nephew: Rev. William (Mattie) Patterson, Fredonia; one brother-in-law, George Beasley, Cincinnati, Ohio and one sister-in-law: Rebecca Patterson, Roanoke; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren all of whom she adored and many other relatives and friends.
