Funeral Notice
Mr. Clinton Ray age: 89 of Waverly died Monday, February 8, 2016 at LaFayette Extended Care, LaFayette. Funeral services will be held at Antioch Baptist Church, LaFayette on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. (C.S.T) with Rev. Calvin Marshall, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie instate at the church one hour before the service. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home Chapel, LaFayette.
Mr. Ray is survived by a devoted wife of 60 years, Mildred Ray, Waverly; one son: James (Dorshel) Ray, Queens Village, NY; six grandchildren: Jameice Ray, Janea Ray, Jionne Ray, Lashawn Ray and Malcolm Ray all of New York and a devoted granddaughter, Constance Ray, Opelika; two great grandsons: Unique Ray and Dominque Ray both of Opelika; one brother: Monroe (Lois) Ray, LaFayette; a goddaughter: Ruby (Larry) Presley and a godson: Jerry Holloway both of LaFayette; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
