Ms. Annie Lou Heard, 94, of Lanett died Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Columbus Regional-Piedmont Healthcare, Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held at Greenwood Baptist Church, Lanett on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. (EST) with Rev. James McTier, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 p.m. (EST) until the funeral hour. Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home, Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 6: 00 p.m. (EST).
Ms . Heard is survived by six children, Willie Joe Tucker, Michael (Cherre) Heard, Johnny (Carol) Heard & Betty Lou Winston all of Lanett, Patricia Hugley, West Point, GA and Gloria Ayrtey, Atlanta, GA; one sister: Ethel Winston, Melbourne, FL; twenty-five grandchildren, fifty-two great grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren; three special relatives: JC Goss and Willie Robert (Mattie) Goss both of Lanett and Katie Mae Goss, Boston, MA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
