Mrs. Erma Lee Roundtree, 79, of Wedowee died Saturday, March 2, 2019, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at Zion Rest Baptist Church, 1647 County Road 213, Wedowee on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. William Phillips officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 11:00 a.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 12: 00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST).
Mrs. Roundtree is survived by her four children: Maggie L. (Jessie) Kirk, Roanoke, Charles L. (Dianne) Roundtree, Carrollton, GA, Gabriel L. Roundtree and Stacy L. (Joyce) Roundtree, Sr. both of Wedowee; one brother: Edward C. Houston, Portland Oregon; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Isabel Wright and Elizabeth (Tommy Lee) Trammell both of Roanoke and Nora Lee, Wedowee; one brother-in-law: Horace (Christine) Roundtree, Wedowee, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
