Funeral Notice

 

Mrs. Ellese V. Heard, 83, of Camp Hill died Friday, September 25, 2015 at Arbor Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center, Opelika. Funeral services will be held at God’s House of Prayer Holiness Church, 2031 Old Hwy 280, Camp Hill on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Bishop Frank McLeod  officiating. Interment will be in Camp Hill City Cemetery.  The remains will lie instate at the church one hour before the service. Public viewing will be Friday, October 2, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. (CST) to 7:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home, LaFayette.

Mrs. Heard is survived by ten children: Vickie Joyce Heard, Joseph (Bessie) Heard, Juanita (James) Woody all of Camp Hill, LaMorris (Camellia) Heard, Waverly, Elmore Heard and Valeria Rowe both of Buffalo, NY, Michael Heard, Camp Hill, Gary (Leola) Heard, Guin, AL, O’Neal (Mallory) Heard, Cartersville, GA, Clarice McGee, Buffalo, NY; one daughter-in-law:  Peggy Ann Heard, Dadeville; one sister: Irene Brown, Baltimore, MD; two brothers: Robert Copeland, Camp Hill and Clanton Copeland, Baltimore, MD; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

To my Family I was so sad to learn of Aunt Elles' passing. I have many happy memories of the times that she came to visit her sister, (my Grandmother) Jerome Brooks in Cincinnati, OH. I send condolences and love from her Ohio Family.
