Funeral Notice
Mrs. Betty Jerine Griffin, 74, of Five Points died Sunday, October 14, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at Sweet Home Baptist Church, Five Points on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. L. B. Houston officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home, Friday, October 19, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m (CST).
Mrs. Griffin is survived by one son: Theodore Roosevelt Griffin III, Five Points; four daughters: Anita Gardner, Houston, TX, Larita Lees (Tony), Wilmington, NC, Latoya Griffin (Sherico), LaGrange, GA and Victoria Griffin, Atlanta, GA; one sister: Linda Lambert, Mesa, AZ; one brother, Russell Lambert, Jr., Jacksonville, FL; three grandsons four great granddaughters and four great grandsons and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Quite a bite of time had passed since I last saw Betty meaning the mid seventies, so when we remet it was really up lifting for both of our spirits.we talked about two hours last Saturday about thanksgiving coming so honor her for me by having that family dinner. webster 28@msn.com
