Funeral Notice

 

Mr. Nathaniel E. Gibson, 37, of Opelika died Saturday, March 31, 2018 at University of Alabama Hospital, Birmingham.  Funeral services will be held at Mt. Sinai MissionaryBaptist Church, Waverly on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Corey D. Huguley, Sr., officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The remains will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour.  Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home, Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST).

He is survived by his mother: Lizzie M. Gibson Hollie, Opelika; one son: Tyrence Gibson, Auburn; one brother: Smith Gibson III, Opelika; one sister: Patricia Gibson, Jasper; Fiancee: Kelly Mayfield, Opelika, step-mother: Belinda Gibson, Jasper; five special step children; a friend: Teresa Walker, Auburn; two aunts, three uncles and a host nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
